PENSACOLA, Fla. – The (7-3) Argos are coming off a tough last minute loss at No. 15 ranked Lee University and are looking to back on track this weekend in the Yellowhammer state. West Florida will face Alabama-Huntsville on Friday at 5:00 pm CT at Charger Park. Then on Sunday UWF will visit West Alabama at 1:00pm CT.
UWF's defense ranks first in the Gulf South Conference in number of goals allowed with only five total. Goalkeeper Esthefanny Barreras picked up her fifth shutout of the season last Friday against Shorter and ranks third in GSC in Goals Against Average (0.54).

Upcoming Weekend Matchups
* Alabama-Huntsville is (3-7-1) overall and 1-5 in GSC competition, so far this season. Their only GSC win this year came against Auburn-Montgomery last weekend by a final score of 3-1. The Chargers' midfielder Brynn Colvin ranks first in the GSC in Total Goals with 12 and is averaging 1.091 Goals Per Game. UWF has played UAH 21 times in program history and are a perfect (21-0) against the Chargers, with a record of 8-0 when playing at Charger Park.
* West Alabama is (6-3-1) overall and 4-1-1 in GSC action. The Tigers' only loss in GSC play came against Mississippi College, where they were shutout 7-0. The Tigers will be hosting Spring Hill on Friday night before they face off against the Argos on Sunday. UWF is (10-2) all-time against West Alabama, and is 3-1 at Tiger Stadium.
