FIRST HALF: The Argos took the lead in the 12
th minute off a penalty kick goal from
Jessica Quixley. West Florida outshot Alabama-Huntsville 10-0 and had six corner kicks in the first half.
SECOND HALF: Lee Ducharme increased the Argonaut lead to two by scoring in the 50
th minute, this was her first goal of the year. UWF outshot UAH 18-3 and had six corner kicks in the second half as well.
OVERALL STATS: UWF outshot Alabama-Huntsville 28-3. West Florida totaled 12 total corner kicks in tonight's game, and held the Chargers to only one.
NEXT UP: The Argonauts will be back in action on Sunday at Livingston, Alabama to take on West Alabama at Tiger Stadium at 1:00 pm CT. The West Alabama Tigers are (6-3-1) overall and will play Spring Hill later tonight. UWF is (10-2) all-time against West Alabama, and is 3-1 at Tiger Stadium.
