PENSACOLA, Fla. – West Florida is looking to bounce back after a hard fought back and forth match against West Alabama last Sunday that resulted in a 4-3 loss at Tiger Stadium. UWF will start the weekend slate on Friday where they will match up against Valdosta State at 3pm at the UWF Soccer Complex. Then on Sunday the women's soccer team will be hosting bark in the park, as they take on West Georgia at 12:30pm.

Upcoming Promotions
* UWF will be hosting Bark in the Park on Sunday, October 27th against West Georgia, as fans will be able to bring their dogs to the UWF Soccer Complex to enjoy a game and root on the Argos with their furry friends!
* On Tuesday, October 29th the UWF Student Athlete Advisory Committee will be hosting a Trunk or Treat event at the UWF Soccer Complex at 5:30 pm prior to Men's Soccer's game against Pensacola Christian.

Upcoming Weekend Matchups
* Valdosta State is (6-5) overall and is coming off a shutout victory at Delta State last Sunday by a final score of 1-0. All three of their losses in GSC play have been decided by one goal, including a 1-0 loss to #6 nationally ranked Mississippi College in double overtime last weekend. Senior Forward Ashley Lewis ranks tied for second in the GSC in Game-Winning Goals with three. West Florida has played Valdosta State 11 times in program history and are (7-1-3) against the Blazers, with a record of 3-0-2 when hosting them at the UWF Soccer Complex.
* West Georgia is (4-7-1) overall and are currently on a four-game losing streak going into their match against Spring Hill on Friday afternoon, before they face off against the Argos on Sunday. Five of the Wolves' losses this season have been decided by one goal. West Georgia's Goalkeeper Jackie Donaldson ranks third in the GSC in Saves Per Game with 6.25 and leads the conference in total saves (75). The Argonauts are a perfect (18-0) all-time against West Georgia, and are 7-0 at the UWF Soccer Complex.
