The number 6th ranked UWF Men's Soccer team returns home for Gulf South Conference match-ups with foes Montevallo and Auburn Montgomery on Friday and Sunday at the friendly confines of the UWF Soccer Complex.

The Argonauts, coming off two weekend road wins over Christian Brothers and Union, currently sit at the top of the conference standings with six points and are 6-0 on the season, with senior forward Sean Hoffstatter leading the way with four goals and eight points on 19 shots while sophomore and Brazilian native, Jihad Gomes has been steady all season with his two finest outings coming last weekend with six combined saves and shutouts in both victories.

About Montevallo: The Falcons enter the contest with a record of 3-3-1, which includes a win over fellow GSC opponent, Christian Brothers by a final of 4-0 back on September 14th.  Currently tied for 4th place in the conference, Montevallo is lead by Nemanja Acimovic, who has three goals and six points on 22 shots in seven games, while netminder Robert Kuta patrols the backline with 27 saves and a goals against average of 1.10 in eight matches this season.  The Argonauts look to continue their success against the  Falcons in their match-ups with an all-time record of 7-4-1.

About AUM: The Warhawks come into Sunday's game with a record of 4-3-1, including a 1-0 victory over GSC foe Union.  Tied with Montevallo for fourth place in the conference, Thomas Carlile leads the charge for the offense with four goals, two assists, and 10 points on 22 shots while on the back-end Alexander Kraus has stood on his head in net with 13 saves and a GAA of .78 in five starts.  The Argos have dominated their contests with the Warhawks, with a 3-0 record against them all-time.

Kickoff against Montevallo is set for 5pm on Friday night while the Argos face the Warhawks in a matinee on Sunday at 12:30pm.  Fans are encouraged to arrive early to Friday night's match-up against Montevallo with a tailgate at the soccer complex beginning at 4pm.
