2019 SILENT AUCTION LINK
PENSACOLA, Fla. – The University of West Florida volleyball team will host its 13th annual "Pack it Pink" breast cancer awareness match on Tuesday, October 15th at 7:00 pm in the UWF Field House.
The UWF Athletic Department is accepting donations to the event and/or silent auction in order to raise funds to support the fight against breast cancer. Last year, more than $10,000 was raised for the Florida Panhandle Breast Cancer Association through donations and the silent auction.
Head coach Melissa Wolter won her battle with breast cancer thirteen years ago, leading her 2006 team to its first national tournament appearance as she coached between rounds of chemotherapy. Now in remission, Wolter continues to fight against the disease and encourages the team to join the cause.
Any donation you could provide for the event or silent auction would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your donation to our event. Together, we can help fund research and get closer to finding a cure.
The silent auction will run in conjunction with the event and will feature several themed gift baskets, UWF pink jerseys, gift cards, art work and much more. Items can be bid on in person before, during and after the match or online starting tomorrow, October 8th at 12:00 pm, with all proceeds benefiting the Pensacola Breast Cancer Association.
The online portion of the auction will close at 6:00 pm CST on Tuesday, October 15th, 2019 (1 hour prior to the start of the match). There will be a table in the lobby to continue to bid in person. Bidding will end 10 minutes after the match and the winner will be able to take their items with them. BASKETS MUST BE PICKED UP AFTER THE MATCH!
