West Florida to Play Final Road Match of the Regular Season on Sunday

Argos Take on the Badgers on Sunday at 1pm CT

PENSACOLA, Fla. – The (10-4) Argos will travel to Mobile, Alabama on Sunday to play their last regular season road game at 1:00pm CT. West Florida is coming off a weekend series where they shutout both Valdosta State and West Georgia to complete the weekend sweep and improve to 7-3 in Gulf South Conference play.

National Stat Rankings
* UWF ranks 11th in Assists Per Game (2.5), 11th in Points Per Game (8.21), 13th in Total Assists (35), 15th in Shutout Percentage (0.643), 18th in Total Points (115), and 18th in Scoring Offense (2.86) nationally for Division Two.

Regional Rankings
* The first Divisional Rankings were released by the NCAA earlier this week, and West Florida was announced as the fifth seed. Rollins was the top seed in the rankings with an 11-2 record. Lee, Mississippi College, and West Alabama rank above the Argos to round out the top five teams.
 
Player Spotlights
* The United Soccer Coaches Organization announced that UWF junior Annie Rolf was named the Division Two Women's Soccer Player of the Week this week. She finished the weekend with a total of two goals and two assists, scoring once in each game and got both assists against West Georgia on Sunday afternoon. Rolf was also named the GSC Player of the Week this week as well.
* Freshman Anita Danielsdottir was named the GSC Freshman of the Week this week after she scored two goals and had two assists over the weekend. Danielsdottir scored once in each game and got both assists against Valdosta State last Friday.

Upcoming Weekend Matchup
* Spring Hill College is (0-10) in conference play this season and has a (1-13) overall record. Spring Hill is currently on an 11-game losing streak going into the match. Their only win came against Georgia Southwestern State by a final score of 2-1 back in September. UWF is (17-0) overall against Spring Hill and has an (8-0) record when playing the Badgers at Library Field in Mobile, Alabama.
