Pensacola, Fla.- The 16th ranked UWF Men's Soccer team begins post-season play on Tuesday night when they face a familiar foe in Spring Hill to open the Gulf South Conference tournament at the UWF Soccer Complex.
West Florida (11-1-3, 6-1-3 in the GSC) starts the tournament as the number three seed while Spring Hill (7-7, 5-5 in GSC play) is listed as the number six seed. Mississippi College, Auburn Montgomery, Lee and Christian Brothers round out the top five.
UWF has won the previous two match-ups between the two schools this season with a 2-1 win at Spring Hill on September 21st and a 4-1 win at the UWF Soccer Complex in early November.

Ed Chappe both tallied their fifth goals of the season in the contest. Alves, a native of Belo Horizonte, Brazil, leads all freshmen in the GSC with six assists on the season.
About SHC:The Badgers come into Tuesday's match-up fresh off a 2-0 win victory over Delta State to clinch the sixth seed. Senior forward Alex Lipinski leads the charge for the offense with six goals, five assists and 17 points on the season while Vassil Kokali provides support with three goals on the year including one in their most recent match against DSU. Alessandro Erdelyi is the netminder, tallying 46 saves and only allowing 18 goals in just over 1,000 minutes of play.
