A day later, the Argonauts got off to a super slow start and fell behind 13-1 and trailed 31-18 at the half. UWF shot just 24 percent, including 5-of-28 in the first half in a game that it never led.  Norquest paced the offense with 13 points and nine rebounds, including six on the offensive end of the floor. UWF scored the first 11 points in the third period to pull within 31-29. Fort Valley responded by scoring the next 11 points to get the margin back into double digits at 42-29. The Argos never got closer than eight points the rest of the game.
