UWF improved to 7-1 overall, 6-0 in the Gulf South Conference and 4-0 at home - all program records.
UWF extended its win streak to seven games, breaking a tie with the 2017 team for the longest winning streak in a season.
The Argos remained tied for first in the GSC with Valdosta State at 6-0. With two games remaining, UWF can finish first or second based on existing tiebreakers. The Argos were picked fourth in the preseason coaches poll

Player Notes
Redshirt freshman QB Austin Reed was 21-of-31 with 254 yards, a touchdown and an interception. His INT came on the first play from scrimmage on a tipped ball and the receiver slipping. He has now thrown an INT on the first possession of the last three games and four of his seven starts.
Reed improved to 7-0 as a starter.
Ka'Ron Ashley and Tate Lehtio led the receiving corps with six catches each.
Ashley had a game- and season-high 77 yards, marking his most since the Super Region 2 title game in 2017 at West Alabama. He hauled in a 38-yard TD catch in the fourth quarter that put the Argos up 17-7.
Lehtio's six receptions pushed his season total to 36, ranking third in the GSC.
Sophomore P Dawson Hamlin punted three times for a 47.7 yard avg with two inside the 20.
Senior PK Austin Williams went 1-for-2 on field goal attempts, making from 30 and missing from 34. He now has 42 made field goals in his career, placing him in fifth place all-time in the GSC.
