PENSACOLA, Fla. – UWF will begin their early weekend slate on Thursday against Delta State at 5pm at the UWF Soccer Complex. Then on Saturday the women's soccer team will be hosting senior day, as they take on Mississippi College at 12:30pm. The Choctaws are currently ranked number five nationally according to the United Soccer Soccer Coaches' poll.

Senior Class Spotlight
* The Seniors that will be honored at the game are
Esthefanny Barreras,
Celine Rumpf,
Robyn Herman,
Grayson Sheets,
Kaila Armstrong, and
Isabella Garcia-Salas.
* Over the course of the last four seasons members of this group have been a part of 67 victories, three NCAA Tournaments, four GSC Tournaments, the 2016 and 2018 GSC Tournament titles, and the 2016 and 2017 NCAA South Region Championships.

* UWF ranks 9
th in Points Per Game (8.33), 9
th in Shutout Percentage (0.667), 10
th in Assists Per Game (2.6), 15

th in Total Points (125) nationally for Division Two.
Regional Rankings
* The second Divisional Rankings were released by the NCAA today, and West Florida was announced as the seventh seed. Rollins is the top seed in the rankings with an 11-3 record. Mississippi College, Lee, Nova Southeastern and Montevallo round out the top five teams.
Upcoming Weekend Matchups
* Delta State is 5-6-4 overall and is coming off a shutout victory against Auburn-Montgomery last Sunday by a final score of 2-0. Before their game against Auburn-Montgomery, the Lady Statesmen had lost three matches in a row: Valdosta State 1-0, Mississippi College 1-0 and Montevallo 2-0. Senior Forward Ashley Lewis ranks tied for second in the GSC in Game-Winning Goals with three. West Florida is a perfect 15-0 when facing Delta State and are 10-0 against the Lady Statesmen at the UWF Soccer Complex.
* Mississippi College is 13-1 overall and have won 13 straight games, including a come from behind victory against Montevallo last Sunday. Their only loss occurred on the road at Saint Leo in their season opener by a final score of 1-0. The Choctaws will play at Spring Hill on Thursday afternoon, before they face off against the Argos on Saturday to wrap up the regular season. The Argonauts are 5-3 all-time against Mississippi College, and are 1-1 when facing the Choctaws at the UWF Soccer Complex.
