PENSACOLA, Fla. – UWF men's basketball will close its regular season Saturday at Montevallo. The Argos are looking to finish on a strong note and avenge a January 5th loss to the Falcons. Tip is slated for 4:00 p.m.
"We'd really like win our last game for our three seniors who have meant so much to this program," said UWF head coach
Jeff Burkhamer. "We would love to have a win to finish up the year and have some momentum going into next season."
UWF (11-16, 7-12 GSC) has won each of its last two regular season finales, downing Shorter 110-103 to close 2016-17 and then-No. 8 Valdosta State 91-84 in 2017-18.
"It's a game we'd like to win because we didn't play well against Montevallo the first time," said Burkhamer. "We're playing much better basketball now, and we'd like to finish on a positive note, so we're excited about going and playing, and hopefully we're going to play well."
