MONTGOMERY, Ala.-  The No.8 UWF Women's Tennis (2-1, 2-0) swept Auburn University at Montgomery (2-2, 0-1) 7-0 at AUM's Gulf South Conference opener at AUM Tennis Complex.

The Argos are back on a roll with another win under their belt and looking good for the rest of the weekend.

The girls swept all games against AUM but they were kept close making it a strong motivating win for the Argos. The order of finish for the match was Doubles (2,3,1); Singles (3,1,4,6,2,5).

The No.1 doubles team of Gabriela Araujo and Jennifer Rink defeated  Julia Enderink and Sofia Navarro of AUM 7-5 to win the doubles round after being split 1-1.

In singles, the UWF women won all six games, but had a couple of close games. Nationally ranked No.1 Berta Bonardi defeated Svenja Petri of AUM 6-1, 6-1 right after the Argos other nationally ranked player No.29 Karolina Silwanowicz  defeated Sofia Navarro of AUM 6-0, 6-2. Rink and Heather Mixon were the last two to finish up with Rink winning a close couple of sets 7-6, 7-5 and Mixon with the final game ending with Mixon winning 6-1, 7-6 to end the day.
