CARROLLTON, Ga. - The UWF women's basketball team will conclude it's current 3-game road trip with a Saturday contest at West Georgia. The Argonauts defeated Auburn Montgomery on Monday and Shorter on Thursday to run their overall win streak to eight games, including four-consecutive on the road.

UWF GOING FOR RECORD WIN STREAK...
The Argos have won eight-straight games which is the second-longest in program history. A win on Saturday would tie the mark set by the 2005-06 team and establish a new benchmark for consecutive conference wins at nine. The 05-06 squad won at Barry before reeling off eight wins over GSC foes.

... AND TRYING TO SNAP ANOTHER
UWF has lost it's last four games at the UWG Coliseum and is just 3-8 since the 2007-08 season. The Argos have come close during the skid, falling by three in 2015 and on a buzzer beater in a 54-53 loss two years ago.

BREWER UP TO 16 DOUBLE-DOUBLES
Senior Toni Brewer had 23 points and 10 rebounds against Shorter, picking up her GSC-leading 16th double-double. That is also second in the country. She now has 54 career double-double which is second among active Division 2 players.
Her 1,101 career rebounds are first among D2 players and 10th among all NCAA active players. Her total ranks eighth in GSC history - the next player on the list with 1,159 is Schwanda Walker of West Georgia (1990-94).
