PENSACOLA, Fla. – Fresh off a home opening win at the UWF Soccer Complex the No. 6 University of West Florida women's soccer team will travel to Winter Park, Florida to take on Rollins College at 7pm ET in their first road game of the year. They will return to host Albany State on Sunday at 3pm CT at the UWF Soccer Complex to wrap up the weekend.

* West Florida jumped up to #6 in the United Soccer Coaches poll this week. UWF and Lee University are the only two teams from the Gulf South Conference ranked in the top 25 poll. Lee University is ranked #12, after losing to number 1 ranked Grand Valley State 3-0 last Saturday. The Argonauts will play against the Lee Flames in Cleveland, Tennessee on October 13
th.
Upcoming Weekend Matchups
* Rollins is coming off their first victory of the season on Saturday against Cedarville University by defeating them in double overtime 4-3. The Tars are (1-1) overall now, after losing to the number one ranked team in the country Grand Valley State in their season opener 5-2. West Florida has played Rollins eighteen times in program history and are (13-3-2) against the Tars, with a record of 8-0-1 when visiting the Barker Family Stadium.
* Albany State is (1-0) after beating Spring Hill in their season opener 4-2 in Mobile, Alabama last Sunday. The Golden Rams will be visiting Auburn-Montgomery on Thursday night before they face off against the Argos on Sunday. UWF is (2-0) all-time against Albany State and defeated the Golden Rams 5-0 last year in Albany, Georgia.
