PENSACOLA, Fla. – The No. 17 ranked UWF women's soccer team will host Saint Leo University on Sunday afternoon at the UWF Soccer Complex at 12:30pm CT. West Florida is coming off of a 5-0 shut-out victory against Albany State last Sunday.

Updated Rankings
* West Florida moved to #17 in the United Soccer Coaches poll this week. UWF and Lee University remain the only two teams from the Gulf South Conference ranked in the top 25 poll. Lee University jumped up to #5, after beating Carson-Newman 2-0 last Friday and Trevecca Nazarene 3-0 on Monday. The Argonauts will play against the Lee Flames in Cleveland, Tennessee on October 13^th.

Upcoming Weekend Matchup
* Saint Leo beat Spring Hill 4-1 on Friday night to improve to 3-1-1 overall this season. The Lions started off the year defeating Mississippi College 1-0 and West Alabama 2-1. Then they tied Montevallo 1-1 in their next game. Their only loss came to Christian Brothers by a final score of 2-1. UWF has an overall record of (7-1-2) versus Saint Leo and is 3-0 when facing the Lions at the UWF Soccer Complex.
* After Sunday's match the Argos will turn their attention to Gulf South Conference play, as they will be traveling to Tennessee to take on Christian Brothers and Union next weekend.
