GSC action starts with Christian Brothers and Union

UWF (4-0) will face Christian Brothers at 7pm on Friday while they take on Union on Sunday at 3pm.

The Argonauts look to continue their recent success in the GSC as they bulldozed through last season's conference slate with a record of 9-1-1 which included successive 4-1 victories over both Christian Brothers and Union at home in Pensacola.

Meanwhile, Union is 2-2 on the season, with their most recent match being a tough 1-0 overtime defeat at the hands of Auburn Montgomery.  Gavin Scott leads the way for the Bulldogs as the Ayr, Scotland native has recorded four goals and 10 points already on the year with two of them coming in a match against Drury University.  The sophomore midfielder is flanked by senior midfielder Felipe Firmino who has tallied two goals and four points on nine shots this season.  The Argonauts have had success in the past against Union with the all-time series at 5-2-2 in favor of West Florida.
