PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Argonauts will travel to Birmingham, Alabama to begin the weekend slate on Friday afternoon at 3pm CT. UWF will take on Birmingham-Southern and Montevallo at Friday's meet. Then on Saturday the team will head to Atlanta, Georgia to face Emory University and Delta State on Saturday morning at 10am ET. This will be the final meet of the regular season.
 
West Florida is coming off their final home meet of the season in which they defeated Hendrix College 254-36 and fell to Division I opponent Tulane University 181-119.
The Argos had two swimmers place first in individual events at the meet: junior Morgan Ayers and sophomore Ester Rizzetto. Ayers won the 100 Breast with a finals time of 1:05.48. Rizzetto won both the 50 Free (23.22) and the 100 Free (50.93).

West Florida looked sharp on the boards as well. Kelsey DeJesus won both diving events at the meet, with a 258.50 on the 3-meter and a 281.50 on the 1-meter.
 
Birmingham-Southern is a Division I opponent that UWF faced earlier this season and beat 261-39. The Panthers' women's team is currently ranked No. 24 in the most recent poll.

Montevallo is in their first season as a program, owning an overall record of 1-3 up to this point in the season. The Falcons are coming off their first program victory by a score of 120-78 against Iowa Central Community College.

Division III powerhouse, Emory University, is 2-1 and defeated Florida Southern 135-54 in their last meet. The Argos beat Florida Southern earlier this year 259-63.

Conference opponent, Delta State, is currently ranked right behind the Argos at No. 15 in the most recent CSCAA rankings. The Statesmen lost to LSU 195-90, but were able to pick up two first place finishes against the Tigers in the 100 Butterfly and the 200 Breaststroke.
