* UWF is 5-8 overall and 2-4 in Gulf South Conference play following Monday's narrow 59-57 road loss to Montevallo. UWF is 5-4 in its last nine games. The team is 5-0 when scoring 64 points or more and 0-8 when failing to reach that magical number.

Jon Brown continues to lead the team in scoring (20.6 ppg), rebounding (7.1 rpg) and steals (12 total).
Cameron Cox leads the team in assists, totaling 40 for 3.1 apg.
Daniel Sofield is second in scoring with 9.8 ppg and leads the Argos with 35 3-pointers, including three at Montevallo on Monday. 35 of Sofield's 42 made baskets this year have come from outside.

* Delta State enters Thursday's game averaging 70.1 points per game thanks to the play of junior shooting guard Keyshaun Street and junior forward Airen Brooks. Brooks leads the team in scoring at 16.1 points per game followed by Street (15.0). Brooks also averages 10.4 rebounds per game
* Brooks is 6th in the GSC in rebounding while ranking 11th in FG percentage (46.7). Brooks has five double-doubles this season.
UWF-DELTA STATE SERIES HISTORY
* Delta State leads the all-time series 15-9. The teams split their two games a year ago, with DSU winning in Cleveland, 71-62, and the Argonauts claiming a 73-70 win in Pensacola on Valentine's Day. UWF led for the final 15 minutes.
ABOUT MISSISSIPPI COLLEGE
* MC is 6-6 and 2-4 as they enter a game at Valdosta State on Thursday. The are coming off a 79-69 home win over Shorter on Saturday. The Choctaws shoot 42 percent overall and average 5.6 made 3-pointers per game.
* Winceton Edwards and Winford Ross are the leading scorers, with Edwards posting a team-high 12.9 points and 19 3-pointers to pace the squad. Ross is second in scoring and rebounding at 12.0 points and 7.5 boards per game.
UWF-MISSISSIPPI COLLEGE SERIES HISTORY
* The Argos are 7-4 all-time against the Choctaws. UWF had won seven-consecutive before MC grabbed a 77-71 win in Pensacola on Feb. 16 a year ago. The seriees is tied 3-3 at the UWF Field House.
