PENSACOLA, Fla. – Danielle Norquest had 24 points and 17 rebounds for her school-record tying 21st double-double in UWF's 78-55 loss to Montevallo at the UWF Field House Saturday.
 
UWF shot 33 percent in falling to 7-20 overall and 3-16 in the Gulf South Conference.
 
Norquest tied the single-season double-double mark set last year by Toni Brewer. She has a chance to break the record on Thursday night in the season finale when the Argos face Valdosta State at home. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m.
 
Fanny Hulmi had 10 points and Rachel McCree added eight for UWF. Both players made a pair of 3-pointers.
 
On Saturday, UWF fell behind 34-20 late in the first half before making three-consecutive 3-pointers to get within six at the half.
 
The Argonauts trimmed the margin to one point twice in the second half but never could take the lead. UM used a 9-0 run of its own midway through the third quarter to extend the margin to 48-37.
 
Montevallo improved to 17-9 and 11-7 in the GSC as four Falcons scored in double figures, led by Shyan Flack's 16 points. She also led the team with seven rebounds. UM shot 43 percent overall and 53 percent in the fourth quarter.
