2021 UWF FOOTBALL MID-YEAR TRANSFERS (pdf)
PENSACOLA, Fla. – The UWF Football program has added 10 mid-year transfers in an announcement by head coach Pete Shinnick on Wednesday.
Shinnick said all of the transfers are enrolled at UWF and have been participating in team meetings, which began earlier this week.
The transfer group includes four offensive players, three on defense and three specialists. It also is emblematic of the national recruiting reach that the program has seen in recent years, continuing to draw players from central and South Florida while adding student-athletes from Texas, West Virginia, Australia, and two more from Northwest Florida and Southwest Alabama.
Following the end of the 2019-20 academic year, the Argonauts added 14 transfers that included five linebackers, two defensive linemen, a defensive back, two offensive linemen and four wide receivers. All of them attended school in the Fall and went through practice last semester.
The program will announce a group of signees during the first part of the National Letter of Intent Regular Period, which begins on Wednesday, Feb. 3.
