Paul Thompson has been an avid Argo fan and supporter since 2001. He continually cheers on and supports the student-athletes on the playing field and in the classroom. Paul graduated from UWF with his Bachelors of Arts, and Masters of Accountancy. We are grateful for Paul's support as an Athletics donor and UWF Alumni. We appreciate you Paul!

·  Why do you give to UWF Athletics?
As a graduate of UWF, I wanted to find a way to support the school because I learned so much in my time there. I specifically chose the athletic program because, as a high school basketball coach myself, I believe in pouring into the lives of student-athletes. My wife and I attended games when we were students at UWF and have continued to faithfully attend the volleyball and women's basketball games. We love the coaches of both of those programs and want to help them, as well as the players, succeed.

·  Why do you continue to give annually?
I continue to give each year because I feel I am helping to give back to a place that has meant a lot to myself and my wife. Student-athletes are hard-working individuals who often become leaders and make a long-lasting impact on their community.

·  What makes you passionate about UWF Athletics?

My wife and I have loved watching the athletic program grow throughout the years. The enthusiasm and hard work of the coaches and players is inspiring. We want to continue to support the mission and vision of the athletic department.

·  Anything else you'd like to add?
My wife and I met while we were students at UWF. We love this school and what it means to us and our hometown. Go Argos!
