NCAA DIVISION 2 FOOTBALL REGIONAL RANKINGS

INDIANAPOLIS – The UWF football team moved up one spot in the NCAA Regional Rankings and both national top 25 polls on Monday, coming in at No. 4 in all three.
 
UWF is 7-1 overall and 4-1 in the Gulf South Conference following Saturday's 63-28 win at Mississippi College. It was the Argonauts' ninth-consecutive road win, which ranks as the fourth-longest active streak in the country.
 
UWF will be back in action this Saturday at West Alabama (7-2, 4-2) with its sixth game away from Pensacola in 2021. The Tigers are ranked 23rd in the coaches poll, 21st in the D2Football.com listing and eighth in the Super Region 2 ranking.
 
In the region ranking, the top three remained the same with Valdosta State, Bowie State and Albany State ahead of UWF. West Georgia slipped to fifth after its loss to VSU. Mars Hill and Newberry are ahead of UWA in six and seven, respectively, while Savannah State and Lenoir-Rhyne behind the Tigers.
