HAPPY HOMECOMING Y'ALL
• After two weeks on the road collecting victory peaches in Georgia, UWF returns home for a pair of home games the next two weeks, beginning Saturday against Mississippi College. Kickoff for the Homecoming contest at Pen Air Field is at 4 p.m.
FOUR DOWNS WITH UWF
* UWF has one of the top offenses in the country, averaging 44.8 points per game (5th) on 473.5 yards of total offense (9th) with 237.7 rushing (12th) & 235.8 passing (50th). The offensive line has allowed 2 sacks in 367 plays.
* UWF has had at least one passing TD in 51-consecutive games & 66 out of 69 all-time. The Argos have had at least two passing scores in 19 of their last 20 games, and at least 2 rushing TDs in all six games this season.
* David Durden has emerged into one of the top receivers in the country, ranking 15th in receiving yards/game with 100.2. He is also 29th with 5.8 receptions/game.
* This is the first of two meetings this season between the teams. The GSC regional game on Nov. 12 will be in Clinton with a 2 p.m. kickoff.

• UWF is third in the country with 7.74 yards per play.
• Junior QB Peewee Jarrett is 16th in the country in passing efficiency, 20th in passing TD (15), seventh in passing yards per completion (15.4) and 26th in points responsible for per game (17.0).
ABOUT UWF
• UWF is 5-1 through six games and in second place in the GSC at 4-1. The Argonauts are No. 9 in the AFCA Top 25 poll and No. 8 in the D2Football.com poll following last week's 50-26 win at Shorter.
• UWF is ninth in the country with 473.5 total offense yards per game. The Argos have the most balanced attack in the country with 237.7 ypg on the ground and 235.8 through the air. The Argos are third nationally with 7.74 yards per play.
• The UWF defense is third in the GSC, allowing 358.7 ypg and has forced nine turnovers.
• Shomari Mason and Ra'veion Hargrove lead the UWF rushing attack, which is ranked 12th in the country and second in the GSC. The Argos are second in Division 2 with 7.2 yards per rush. Mason is 18th nationally with 103.3 ypg and fifth with 7.9 yards per rush. Hargrove averages 8.0 yards per rush with 343 rushing yards. Mason has seven touchdowns and CJ Wilson leads the team with eight.
ABOUT MISSISSIPPI COLLEGE
• Mississippi College is 4-3 on the season and 3-1 in the GSC, tied with UWF for second place. The Choctaws are coming off a 49-40 road win over Valdosta State in which they rushed for a school-record 598 yards.
• MC has been a run-oriented unit during John Bland's eight fall seasons in Clinton. The team leads the country with 361 rushing yards per game.
• RB Marcus Williams is third in the GSC with 90.0 rushing ypg with QB John Henry White averaging 140.3 yards on the ground in his four games.
• The Choctaws only average nine pass attempts per game but their 3.14 completions per contest go for an average of 21.3 yards per play.
SERIES HISTORY
• UWF is 5-0 all-time against MC, winning twice in Pensacola and three times in Clinton.
• The two games in Pensacola have featured some excitement, highlighted by Marcus Clayton's 98-yard pick 6 to seal a 28-14 win in 2017, and a 27-21 overtime win on a Kevin Grant TD reception in 2019. The Argos trailed 14-7 at halftime in both of those games.
DYNAMITE DURDEN
• Senior WR David Durden has had a dominant 2022 season. The Midville, Georgia native currently ranks 15th nationally with 100.2 receiving yards per game and 29th with 5.8 receptions per game.
• He has 501 total receiving yards with 170 yards after the catch, for an average of 8.5 YAC.
• Last week at Shorter, he returned a punt 58 yards for a touchdown the first time he touched the ball. Then he followed it up with 111 yards receiving on a career-high nine catches and a score.
HARRIS PROVIDING BOOST TO RETURN GAME
• Redshirt senior Isaiah Harris is 24th in the country with 27.2 yards per kickoff return. As a team, the Argos are ninth nationally with 26.2 yards per return.
ARGOS LOVING THAT PUMPKIN SPICE FOOTBALL
• UWF is 17-7 (.696) all-time in the month of October. The Argos have gone 11-1 in their last 12 during the Pumpkin month.
FUN WITH NUMBERS
• UWF has had at least one passing TD in 51-consecutive games & 66 out of 69 all-time. The Argos have had at least two passing scores in 19 of their last 20 games, and at least 2 passing & 2 rushing TDs in five of six games this season.
• UWF is 8-1 all-time when rushing for at least 200 yards in a game.
ARGOS AMONG ATTENDANCE LEADERS ONCE AGAIN
• Through three home games in 2022, UWF is averaging 4,845 fans per contest, which ranks 21st in the country. When factoring in the 4,000-person capacity of Pen Air Field, the Argos are seventh with a 121.1% capacity.
• UWF has ranked in the top 25 of Division 2 in average attendance all five previous seasons.
