Pensacola, Fla. --- After defeating Lee 1-0 off a 50-yard shot from Blair Cowan, the Argos advance to the second round and will take on 2-seed Nova Southeastern from the Sunshine State Conference.
 
The Lee Flames ended their season with a record of 12-4-5.
 
The next opponent the Argos take on is Nova Southeastern Saturday, Nov. 12 at 1:00 p.m. at the UWF Soccer Complex.

Nova Southeastern (9-2-4) fell short to South Region 1-seed Embry-Riddle in the SSC tournament semifinal match.
 
The Sharks outshot Embry-Riddle 17-16 but only one goal fell in to get a 2-1 defeat. Freshman Sofia Suarez found the back of the net in the 68^th minute to even the score after allowing a goal 20-minutes prior, but the Sharks could not hold onto the lead. Isabelle Navren from Embry-Riddle scored the game-winning goal just a minute after to take the lead and knock the Sharks out of the conference tournament.
 
The Sharks has a first-round bye in the NCAA Championship.
 
The Sharks have outscored their opponents 29-11 over the course of 15 games. The junior from Brazil, Luana Grabias, leads the Sharks with 10 goals and five assists followed by Miami, Florida native, Dani Correa, with six goals on the season.
 
Stefane Rosa has recorded 15 consecutive starts to protect the net and had has not stepped foot off the pitch. Playing in all 1,350 minutes played, Rosa has 84 saves and a 0.884 save percentage.

The teams have only played each other six times with the Argos coming out victorious in five games. The only loss came back in 2011.
 
The latest matchup was in 2016 for the first round of the NCAA tournament with the Argos upsetting the Sharks 1-0 off an early goal in the first half.
