UWF FOOTBALL GAME DAY POLICY
PENSACOLA, Fla. – The UWF athletics department will be implementing a Clear Bag policy and expanding the seating at Pen Air Field for the 2022 home football season.
The clear bag policy was enacted to allow fans to enter the stadium on game day smoother and faster.
Each ticket holder is allowed one large clear bag such as a one-gallon Ziploc style bag or clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bag that does not exceed 12" by 6" by 12". Those requiring necessary items (e.g., diapers for a baby, medical prescriptions, etc.) are encouraged to carry them into the stadium in a clear plastic bag. Fans are encouraged to bring ONLY necessary items to football games at Pen Air Field. Standard small clutch purses are allowed but cannot exceed 4.5 x 6.5 inches in size. All subjects and items are subject to search.
The following bags will not be allowed into the stadium:
-backpacks, luggage, large purses, drawstring bags, fanny packs, briefcases, coolers, computer bags, et cetera are prohibited. Only officially credentialed UWF Approved photographers can enter the stadium with camera bags.
In addition to those policies, the seating at Pen Air Field has been expanded to 4,000 seats, with those on the West Side behind the UWF bench featuring navy and blue chair backs, and the East Side sections behind the visiting team bench all bleachers. Fans do not need to bring beach/lounge-style chairs to the game if they have a ticket for either side of the stadium seating.
Concessions options this week will include food trucks from Chick-Fil-A, Sonny's, Domino's, Melt Pensacola, BAM! Snoballs and Aramark, along with beverages from Coca-Cola and the Lewis Bear Company.
Parking with a valid game permit is available in the lots surrounding Pen Air Field, and for $10 cash without a permit in Lots 4 (Campus Lot J), 5 (Campus Lot I) and the Overflow Lots (Lots G & H). Handicapped parking is available for $10 in Lot 1 (Lot E) with a valid handicap permit. RV parking is offered in Lot 5 for $40 cash.
Tailgating in Argo Village presented by Whataburger opens at 2 p.m. in front of the UWF Field House.
The ticket office opens at 3 p.m. and the stadium gates open at 5 p.m.
