PENSACOLA, Fla.- With a little less than two weeks since playing, the West Florida Men's Soccer Team will be on the road in Tennessee for more GSC games against Union and Christian Brothers this weekend.

West Florida (3-2-1) men's soccer looks to rebound after a draw due to weather conditions against West Alabama (1-2-3) on Sept. 11.
Freshman
Kendrick Hernandez leads the Argonauts in goals with three and points with six. The second leading scorer
Kainan Dos Santos has dominated from the field with two goals, one assist, five points, and 23 shots.
UWF Goalkeeper
Nicolas Meckien has zero goals allowed and recorded four saves. Meckien recorded three saves against West Alabama for the game to end in a draw.
As a team, the Argonauts have outshot their opponents 87-43 and has tallied more goals than opponents with 11. UWF stands at No. 8 in the conference with a 1-0-1 GSC record this season.

The Bulldogs open this match against the Argonauts with a 3-5 overall record and 1-3 conference record with a conference win over Shorter.
Freshman Ostian Bowen leads UU in goals (5), assists (2), points (12), and shots (28). Bowen has scored five out of the eight games the Bulldogs have played this season.
In the net, goalkeeper Botond Nemeth has started six of the eight games for the Bulldogs. Nemeth tallies 525 minutes and 29 saves with 15 goals allowed.
Steven Cox is entering into his sixth season as head coach of the Bulldogs. Cox's career coaching record is 29-34-7 (.464), all at Union.
HISTORY
West Florida leads the all-time series record versus the Bulldogs 6-3-2. Both squads met last October at the UWF Soccer Complex, the Argonauts fell to a tough Bulldogs team 2-1.
The Argonauts were scoreless in the second half due to a strong Union defense, but UWF outshot the Bulldogs 16-6.

In the GSC standings, the Buccaneers (5-2-1) are No. 5 with a 2-2 record in conference play. CBU claimed a huge win 2-1 over Auburn Montgomery on Sunday, Sept. 18. Junior Habib Binate scored the first for CBU with Lucho Galizzi scoring the second goal to claim the win in the 72
nd minute.
Binate and Galizzi lead the charge for the Buccaneers offensively. As a team, CBU has outshot their opponents 115-87 and has outscored them 17-6.
Senior goalkeeper Max Klink has started seven of the eight games for the Buccaneers. Klink holds opponents at bay with tallying 20 saves and only five goals allowed.
HISTORY
UWF leads the all-time series versus CBU, 17-3-2. Both squads played twice in the 2021 season with the Argos going 1-0-1 against the Bucs.
Earlier in October, the match against CBU ended in a 3-3 draw due to weather conditions in Pensacola, Fla. Ancelin recorded a hat-trick in the game with three goals.
The second time these two teams met up in November, the Argonauts defeated the Bucs 4-2 to advance to the GSC tournament semifinals. GSC Freshman of the Year
Keegan Ancelin had a tremendous game by recording two goals and Dos Santos had one goal with three assists to help the Argos increase their lead against CBU.
This weekend will be a great weekend of conference play and Division II Men's Soccer.
GSC play will begin for the Argos on Friday at 7:30 p.m. versus Union and Christian Brothers at 3 p.m. on Sunday.
