GULF BREEZE, Fla. --- No. 22 UWF got their 10
th win on the season after a 2-0 home victory over Christian Brothers, Friday afternoon.

UWF (10-1-1, 7-1 GSC) outshot the Bucs (4-6-3, 2-5-1 GSC), 16-3.
Mya Swinton accounted for six shots. She totaled three of UWF's seven shots on goal.

Ahnalie Layman scored her first goal of the season that gave UWF a 1-0 lead. Halfway through the first 45 minutes of play,
Emma Beltz connected with Layman in the box who flew a shot on the ground past the goalkeeper. Layman finished with two shots in 90 minutes of game time.

Possession was majority UWF in the second half but was unable to execute on their opportunities. It wasn't until the 84
th minute that the Argos extended their lead to 2-0. The goal was credited to
Emilie Dueck Doerkesen who now has two goals on the season.

The goal was a solid individual effort that began with Dueck Doerkesen attacking the Bucs back line. She cut into the middle of the box to separate herself from the opponents and found a gap in the back post to get through the keeper.
