JILES EMERGING AS AN ELITE POSTSEASONÂ AWARD CANDIDATE
• UWF senior WR John Jiles has been absolutely unstoppable at times this season. The Virginia Union transfer rankes second in Division 2 with 817 receiving yards & is third with nine TD, while ranking second with 111.7 yards per game.
• In two games against West Georgia and North Greenville, he combined for 452 receiving yards on 19 catches with five TD, earning GSC Offensive Player of the Week both times.
• Three weeks ago at North Greenville, the Wake Forest, N.C. native set a UWF single-game record with 277 yards on 11 catches. His yards are the highest in D2 this season, the second-most at any NCAA level and the fourth-most in GSC history.

LEGGETT GOES FOR 109 RECEIVING YARDS
• UWF senior WR Caden Leggett had a career-high 109 receiving yards on five receptions two weeks ago against Shorter.
• The performance was the second 100-yard game of his career, eclipsing the 107-yard day against Warner in the 2022 season opener.
• Since transferring to UWF from Texas Tech a year ago, the Georgetown, Texas product has 62 receptions for 968 yards and 13 TD.
PEEWEE'S BIG ADVENTURE
• Senior QB Peewee Jarrett has benefitted greatly from the altered passing philosophy of first year head coach Kaleb Nobles, which has resulted in a 60.8 passing completion percentage for the Iowa native.

MCMULLEN TAKING UP RESIDENCE IN OPPONENTS BACKFIELD
• Graduate DL John McMullen has seven quarterback sacks to rank fifth in the country. That figure is already halfway to the UWF and GSC record of 14.5, set by John Williamson in 2017.
• The Northern Michigan transfer from Kankakee, Ill. has 27.5 sacks in his career. He was a 3-time All-GLIAC performer for the Wildcats.
ROBINSON FEASTING ON BALL CARRIERS
• Sophomore LB Walker Robinson is tied for the team lead with 30 tackles, shinning since taking over the starting MLB role three games ago.
• In fact, the Fort Walton Beach, Florida native has posted the top three tackle games of this career in the last three weeks, stopping 10 NGU players, eight Shorter guys and seven UWA Tigers last week.
ORTIZ NABS THIRD-STRAIGHT GSC AWARD, LEADS LB IN INTERCEPTIONS
• R-Fr. LB Ralph Ortiz was named the Gulf South Conference Freshman of the Week for the third consecutive time last week. He is tied for the GSC lead and ranks 23rd nationally with three interceptions.
• Additionally, he is one of only seven linebackers across all NCAA divisions with three picks and the only one in Division 2.
• Ortiz is the first player to earn three-straight GSC rookie awards since 2014 when former Florida Tech quarterback Mark Cato claimed the first four honors of that season.
• The three awards for Ortiz are now tied for the third most in a season in the league record book.
SCORING APLENTY VS GSC
• UWF has scored 145 points in the first four GSC contests - the second most in the first four league games in program history.
• Last season the Argos scored 168 points in the first four league games.
