CARROLLTON, Ga. - The Argonauts (18-6, 11-0 GSC) started out fast and never let up on the way to completely dominating the stat sheet against West Georgia (11-11, 5-5 GSC) in a much-needed 3-0 win (25-14, 25-17, 25-15). 
 
UWF only trailed twice, both at the beginning of the second set, and outhit its counterpart .472 to .157, tallying 48 kills to UWG's 30 and only committing six errors to the hosts' 16. Every player that played in every set found the floor with an attack at least once. Four hit at or above .500, as the lowest individual hitting percentage on the team was .333. 
 
Annie Monaco led her squad by racking up 12 kills on a .500 outing with just one error in addition to eight digs and two aces. Damyah Joyner fired nine kills on 12 attempts for a blistering .667. Bailee Sterling also had nine kills as well as three aces. Jacque Martin added seven kills while leading the team on the defensive side with 10 digs. Meg Brackhan scooped nine attacks for her part. Gabi Moulton assisted on 35 of her team's kills while also killing four balls on seven attempts.
 
The Argos responded to every threat the Wolves mustered, utilizing a 6-0 run midway through the first set, a 4-0 span early in the second and a 7-0 run that made the score 15-5 in the last frame to pull away in each period. 

With the win, the Blue and Green is the first team to clinch its spot in the GSC Championship. UWF now aims to maintain its hold on the top spot in the league standings in order to earn its eighth straight No. 1 finish and once again host the conference tournament at UWF Field House. 

Next up for West Florida is a short road trip to Mobile, Alabama, to take on Spring Hill. It will be the final out-of-conference matchup of the regular season for the Argos.
