• UWF is 6-3 this season and 4-2 in Gulf South Conference play after last week's heartbreaking 31-28 loss to Valdosta State.
• The Argos lead the GSC and rank 17th in the country in total defense, allowing just 266 yards and 16.3 points per game (20th).
• On offense, UWF averages 30.8 points and 423 yards per game.
• UWF is second in the GSC in passing offense with 253.3 ypg and first in yards per completion at 14.7.
ABOUT MISSISSIPPI COLLEGE
• MC is 3-5 overall and 2-4 in GSC play following a 34-10 road loss to North Greenville last week. The Choctaws are 1-2 at home with their win coming two weeks ago with a 38-21 win over Chowan.
• The Choctaws average 20.5 points per game on 221 yards rushing and just 96 yards passing. Traditionally a triple-option offense under head coach John Bland, they have thrown the ball more this year than in the past.
• QB Cameron Davis has taken over in the past six games after last year's breakout QB John Henry White was injured against West Georgia in the third week..

• UWF has won all seven meetings with MC, which includes a 4-0 mark at Robinson-Hale Stadium.
• Saturday's game will be the third-consecutive season the Argos have made the trip to Clinton - a first in program history.
UWF RANKED NO. 4 IN REGIONAL RANKINGS
• The UWF football team is listed at No. 4 in the second NCAA Division II Football Super Region 2 Ranking that was released by the NCAA Football Committee on Monday.
• In the region ranking, Benedict, Delta State and Valdosta State are all ahead of UWF. Lenoir-Rhyne, Mars Hill, Fayetteville State and West Georgia are seeded fifth through eighth, respectively, with Fort Valley State and Virginia Union rounding out the region.
