PENSACOLA, Fla - The UWF Men's Soccer team travels to Huntsville, Alabama to compete in the GSC Championship semifinal match against the Lee Flames on Friday, November 10th at 6pm. The #3 seeded Argos will face the #7 seed Flames.

The History
The Argos are 6-3-5 against the Lee Flames in their past matchups with their most recent being a 1-0 loss in early October. The past match was an intense one resulting in two red cards from the Argos and a total of 11 other yellow cards given out. The match was decided by a penalty kick in the 56th minute from Marc Ehmann. Despite the loss, the Argos out shot the Flames 19-4 in the match and received six corner kicks to their single one.Â

After coming off of a 4-1 win against Alabama Huntsville in the opening round of tournament play, the #3 seeded Argos are looking to continue their feats on the road. Coming off of two goals in their first round, forward

About Lee
The #7 seeded Flames earned their spot in the semifinal match after upsetting the #2 seed West Alabma in penalty kicks last weekend after the match went scoreless for 110 minutes. The Flames out shot UWA 23-7 in regular play, and would eventually go on to beat them in PK's with a score of 4-2. Leading the charge for the Lee was First Team All-GSC player Eamon McLaughlin with six shots and three on goal. Teammates Fabian Navarro and Marc Ehmann earned Second Team All-GSC for their squad. Lee enters the semifinal match with a record of 8-5-4 on the season.Â
