PENSACOLA, Fla. – The UWF men's basketball team resumes action this week with four games remaining in the regular season. UWF hosts AUM on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. and Montevallo on Saturday at 4 p.m.
ABOUT UWF
* UWF is 12-12 overall this season and 8-12 in Gulf South Conference play. The Argos are in ninth place, two wins behind Mississippi College for eighth. The top eight teams qualify for the GSC Championship Tournament.
* UWF has lost its last two games following a 5-game winning streak. The Argos have lost five games by 6 points or less this season - all in GSC play.
* UWF is shooting 45 percent from the field and is 9-3 when shooting at least 45 percent in a game.
* From outside the 3-point line, the Argos are converting 35 pct. and 6-2 when making at least 41 percent of their shots from long range. They have made 10 or more triples in a game seven times and are 5-2 in those contests
SERIES HISTORY VS AUM
* UWF holds a 10-6 lead in the series with AUM, which dates back to the 2005-06 season. The Argos are 4-3 in Pensacola and 6-3 in Montgomery.
* 10 of the last 13 games have been decided by 10 points or less.

* Dating back to 2001, UM leads the series 21-10, but since the Falcons rejoined the GSC prior to 2017-18 campaign, UWF holds a 7-6 edge.
* UM leads 6-5 in the last 11 matchups.
* The teams split the home-and-home series a year ago, with each winning at home. UM won at Trustmark Arena, 115-113, earlier this season on New Year's Eve.
