PENSACOLA, Fla.- The West Florida Women's Tennis Team will compete against a tough No. 4 Saint Leo team on Sunday afternoon. The match will be at the VSU Tennis Courts at 2 p.m. (EST).
ABOUT UWF
*UWF is currently 4-5 on the season. The Argos rank No. 49 in the ITA Coaches Poll released on March 8.

Carlota Verdu and
Aline Midori Da Silva lead the Argos in doubles with a perfect 4-0 record as the No. 1 duo. The pair has taken down two nationally ranked opponents from No. 2 Nova Southeastern and No. 12 West Alabama.
*Freshman
Guadalupe Martinez is 6-1 overall in singles for the Argos. She is 4-0 from the No. 4 position and 2-1 as the No. 3.
*Verdu is 4-3 from the No. 2 position for the Argos. In total, the Argos are 31-20 in singles and 11-12 in doubles.
ABOUT SLU
*The nationally ranked Lions are 10-1 on the season and rank No. 4 in the ITA nationals poll. SLU is 3-0 in the Sunshine State Conference with wins over Tampa, Palm Beach Atlantic, and Embry-Riddle.
*Claudia Borbon ranks No. 8 in singles as she plays from the No. 1 position for the Lions.
*Luzia Obermeier and Marta Vicens rank No. 20 and No. 21, respectively in the ITA Singles Ranking. Vicens and Lavina Lancellotti pair up as the No. 1 doubles for the Lions and rank No. 11.

*In their last match, West Florida fell 6-1 to the Lions. Senior
Mayumi Saguchi won her match 6-2, 6-3 from the No. 3 position. The senior is currently playing No. 1 for the Argos.
