PENSACOLA, Fla.- The No. 27 West Florida women's tennis team will conclude the regular season with a match against GSC foe, Valdosta State on Monday. The first set is slated for 2:00 p.m. (EST) at the VSU Tennis Complex.
ABOUT UWF
*The Argos moved up to No. 27 in the latest ITA national ranking on March 5. UWF is 11-8 overall and 6-3 in conference play before the regular season finale against VSU.
*UWF is seated fifth in the GSC standings behind Lee. West Alabama is ranked No. 1 in the GSC standings with a 9-0 record.

Aline Midori Da Silva and
Carlota Verdu rank for their first time this season as a pair as the No. 20 doubles team. The pair is 9-5 as the No. 1 doubles team for the Argos.
*Midori Da Silva comes in ranked No. 51 in the ITA singles ranking as she leads the Argos with twelve individual wins and five losses from majority the No. 3 position.
*Verdu is ranked No. 65 and holds a 9-8 singles record as the No. 2.

Luiza Daud and
Nathalia Mossambani are 8-1 as the No. 2 doubles team and have a perfect 4-0 record in conference play.
SCOUTING THE BLAZERS
*Valdosta State is 6-8 overall and holds a 5-4 GSC record. The Blazers fell to ranked opponents No. 15 Mississippi College and No. 14 AUM this week.
*VSU sits in seventh in the GSC standings before this matchup against the Argos.
*Freshman Kayla Greco leads the Blazers with a 7-4 and 6-2 GSC record. Junier Olivia Pezo is 6-5 overall and 5-3 in conference play.
*In doubles, Anastasiia Vorobiova and Jorja Reynolds are 2-2 in doubles for the Blazers as the No. 1 pair.
UWF VS. VSU HISTORY
*These two squads have been going head-to-head since 2005 making this match the 32
nd meeting on Monday contest.
*The Argos won 4-3 last March against the Blazers as they clinched the match from three singles positions and won the lone doubles point.
