Mya Swinton, the University of West Florida women's soccer team improves to 5-0-1 (2-0 GSC) after defeating Delta State 4-0 in a conference matchup on the road.

Swinton finished with two goals and one assist.
Emma Beltz and
Emilie Dueck Doerkesen added to the score with a goal each.

Swinton got the Argos on the board early in the second minute for a 1-0 lead. Keeping the pressure on the Statesmen (1-5-1 overall, 0-2 GSC) defense, another Swinton goal was found in the back of the net in the 14
th minute. Her back-to-back goals brings her to four on the season.

UWF quickly maintained possession in their attacking half. Immediately following the second goal, Swinton found Beltz who fired a shot in the 15th minute to extend the lead. The Kansas transfer has scored in back-to-back games.

The final goal was scored in the second half by Dueck to bring the total to 4-0.

Maciah Lipsey and
Charline Favier split time in the net. Lipsey was awarded the win and Favier tallied two saves.

The Argos outshot the Statesmen 17-2 and recorded nine shots on target.
