SERIES HISTORY WITH UWG
* UWF is 39-27 against UWG dating back to the first meeting in 1989-90. The Argos have won the last nine outings.
* The Argos are 13-5 in the last 18 games, with the magic number being 63. UWF is 13-0 when scoring at least 63 points and 0-5 when not.
* UWF has won the last three in Carrollton and four of the last five.

YELTON COLLECTED HEAD COACHING VICTORY NUMBER 250 AT SHORTER
* The win at Shorter earlier this season was number 250 for Stephanie Lawrence Yelton as a head coach. She is currently 258-212 in her 17th season, which includes 202-128 in her 12th at UWF. She spent five seasons as the head coach at Charleston Southern, going 56-84 from 2001-06.
* Last season she became the winningest coach in program history, passing Shannon Bergen's 183 wins with a triumph at Christian Brothers on Feb. 4, 2023.
* The win at Alabama Huntsville in mid-January saw her become the tenth coach in GSC history to reach 200 victories at a league school.

SHATTERING RECORDS AGAINST SHC ON NOV. 21
* UWF scored 111 points in the win over SHC two days before Thanksgiving, marking the second-highest scoring game in program history. The Argos scored at least 25 points in all four quarters, with a season-high 33 in the fourth. Here are the top scoring games in UWF history:
125       vs. Stillman 1/27/94
111       vs. Spring Hill, 11/21/24
111       vs. Concordia-Selma 2/26/94
109       vs. Albany State 11/12/16
108       vs. Columbus State 12/15/97
106       vs. Central Arkansas 1991
106       vs. Stillman 12/2/94

* UWF was absolutely locked in from outside, making 20-of-28 3-pointers in the win over Spring Hill on Tuesday. The 20 triples shattered the previous school record of 16 set two years ago against the Badgers. The figure is the most in the country (tied with three other teams) and tied for the fifth-most in GSC history. The 71.4 pct is second nationally behind 73.3 on 11-of-15 by Stanislaus State on Dec. 2.
* The 3-point field goal percentage of 71.4 is where it gets interesting. That figure isn't close to the top eight in the GSC record book because the minimum for makes is 5, meaning 5-of-5, 9-of-10, 7-of-8 and 6-of-7 dominate the list. Looking at the six games where a team made at least 20, here's what they all shot in their games:
.714 (20-of-28)   UWF     vs. SHC, 2023-24
.618 (21-of-24)   Ark.-Monticello  vs. Rhema College, 2007-08
.591 (26-of-44)   Union   vs. Stillman, 2015-16
.522 (24-of-46)   Union   vs. Rust, 2015-16
.457 (21-of-46)   Union   vs. Shorter, 2022-23
n/a (20 made)    North Alabama  vs. Lindsey Wilson, 1998-99

* UWF handed out a school-record 33 assists as well, which is the 11th most in GSC history and the seventh-most in D2 this season.
