MONTEVALLO, Ala—The University of West Florida women's swimming team traveled to Montevallo to face the Falcons on Monday, Veterans Day. The Argos defeated the Falcons 165-91, continuing to work their way into a strong 2024-25 competition season.
200 Medley
A four core of

Sydney Lewis took first in the opening relay, swimming a collective 1.46.99
1000 Free
The Argos took first and second in this race, with
Sofia Kendzior leading the way with her impressive time of 10:34.12, and
Tori Johnston finishing behind her at 10:50.36.Â
200 Free
The Argos continued their strong start as they took first, second, and fourth in the 200 Free, with
Riley MacVane leading the Argos with her time of 1:56.52.
Olivia Copland followed behind in second with her time of 1:57.09 and
Aubrey Klausner in fourth swimming a 1:59.76.
100 Back
Sydney Lewis and
Shannah Dillman finished second and third in the race with Lewis swimming a 59.13, and Dillman following her with a time of 1:01.93.
100 Breast
The Argos nearly swept the top five in the race, claiming first, third, fourth, and fifth.
Alena Rozova took first, swimming a 1:05.27.
Mikayla Puckett came in third, swimming a 1:08.35,
Sam Packard in fourth with her 1:12.00, and
Ruby Nussbaum in fifth with a time of 1:12.21.
200 Butterfly
The Argos took first, second, and fourth in the race with
Sydney Hartis coming in first with her time of 2:10.40,
Sydney Dawson in second with a time of 2:13.51, and
Ellie Dimig in fourth with her time of 2:20.44.

The Argos took 1,2, and 3 in the race with speedy
Sydney Lewis coming in first, swimming a 24.82.
Aimee Patterson took second with her time of 24.94, and
Emily O'Connell came in third with her time of 25.15.
100 Free
Alena Rozova finished first in the race as the newcomer swam an impressive 52.61.
Riley MacVane came in third with a time of 54.71, and
Aimee Patterson finished fourth with a time of 55.32.
Sam Packard rounded the top five with her time of 56.39.
200 Back
Caroline Dimig came in second for the Argos, finishing second in the race with a time of 2:12.50.
Amber Ewald came in third with a time of 2:16.29, and
Sydney Hartis in third with a time of 2:17.17.
200 Breast
The Argos took second through fifth, with
Olivia Copland coming in second, swimming a 2:28.21.
Ellie Rothfuss finished third with a time of 2:30.70,
Mikayla Puckett fourth with a time of 2:32.92, and
Sara Lypko finished fifth with a time of 2:34.34.
500 Free
Sofia Kendzior stayed at the top of her game, finishing first in the 500 Free, swimming a 5:11.29.
Shannah Dillman finished third, swimming a 5:16.95,
Tori Johnston finished fourth with her time of 5:20.17, and
Aubrey Klausner rounded out the top five with her time of 5:20.79.
400 IM
Shannah Dillman topped off the 400 IM with her first-place finish, swimming an impressive 4:35.62.Â

The Argos topped off their fantastic Monday performance, finishing first in the final relay. The four consisting of
