Men's Soccer Season Concludes in NCAA Second Round

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The University of West Florida men's soccer season came to a close on Sunday afternoon as the Argos fell in a hard-fought game to No. 2-seeded Lynn University, 1-0 in the second round of the 2024 NCAA Division II Tournament.

Lynn scored the game's lone goal in the 5th minute. Jan Rohrling was the goal scorer. The The Fighting Knights only had two shots the entire game.

UWF dominated the attacking side of the field with14 shots and six shots on frame but was unable to find the back of the net. Keegan Ancelin led the team with four shots.

The team finished the season with a 12-3-4 overall record. UWF has put together six straight double digit winning seasons.

By making the NCAA tournament this season the Argos have now made 10 national tournament appearances in program history. UWF has made the tournament for five straight seasons.

The graduating senior class was a part of two Gulf South Conference regular season championships and two GSC Tournament Championships. That group also has a postseason record of 11 wins, 2 losses, and 5 ties.
