PENSACOLA, Fla. – Rylie Stephens scored 18 points to lead the University of West Florida's women's basketball on Saturday night in their loss to Georgia Southwestern State University, 83-66.
 
Delaney Trushel added 12 points and five rebounds to be the only other Argo to hit double digit points on the night. Trushel also went 3-of-3 beyond the arc and 3-of-4 at the free throw line.
 
The Lady Hurricanes outscored the Argos in every quarter, with UWF shooting a season low 31-percent from the field.
 
UWF was able to convert 24 points off turnovers from GSW and 16 on fast breaks. Georgia Southwestern posted 42 points in the paint compared to 16 for West Florida.
 
The Lady Hurricanes were led offensively by Ndidiamaka Ndukwe with 27 points and seven rebounds.
 
The Argos will return to action on December 7 when they take on West Alabama on the road. Tip-off is set for 4:00 p.m. in Livingston, Ala.
