PENSACOLA, Fla. --- The University of West Florida women's soccer team heads to Columbus, Ga. to take on CSU in the NCAA quarterfinal matchup. The Cougars will host the Argos Saturday, Dec. 7 at 2:00 p.m. at Walden Soccer Complex.
 
The Argos (17-1-3) just grabbed a South Regional crown after defeating Montevallo in a thrilling fashion Sunday afternoon (Dec. 1).
 
Columbus State is undefeated with a 22-0-1 record. The Cougars secured their eighth Southeast Regional Championship Title after defeated North Georgia 2-0 (Dec. 1).
 
Mya Swinton and Emma Beltz lead UWF with 11 goals apiece. Beltz is coming off a two-goal game and grabbed her fourth game-winning goal in Sunday's third round matchup.
 
Defenders Ahnalie Layman and Kendall Blackmon continue to hold down the back line alongside Gabriel Clarke. The seniors have uplifted UWF to 11 total shutouts on the season so far.
 
Maciah Lipsey tallies a .781 save percentage and .69 goals-against average. In 21 consecutive starts in the net, Lipsey totals 50 saves.

The Cougars have outscored their opponents 100-10. The team tallies 4.35 goals per game and 23.0 shots per game.
 
Attackers Emma Beddow and Sarah Hungerford lead CSU with 28 points each with Hungerford racking 12 goals to sit at top. Midfielder Vanessa Aviles joins Hungerford with 12 goals and totals a pair of assists for 26 points.
 
Junior Heidi Harris has made 23 consecutive starts in the net for Columbus State. Harris has allowed just seven goals past and records 39 saves. The Suwanne, Ga. native sees a .848 save percentage and a .34 goals-against average.
