HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The UWF men's basketball team dropped its second straight Gulf South Conference game of the season on Monday in a 96-63 loss to No. 14 Alabama Huntsville.
Shay Davis led the Argos in scoring with 17 points on 7-of-14 shooting and three 3-pointers.
Kyle McElroy dropped in 12 points and
Elijah Wyche scored 11 to round out the top offensive players for UWF.
The Argos were plagued by the sharp long-range shooting from Alabama Huntsville. The Chargers hit 17-of-32 (53%) from beyond the arc. Luke Burnett led the team with 27 points.
West Florida (1-7, 0-2 GSC) will travel to Valdosta State on Sunday for a 5 p.m. CT tip.
