Donor Spotlight: The Cossich Family

This month, we have a familiar family name for UWF, Marc and Monique Cossich. Marc is UWF's Chief of Police and Monique is the Associate Director of UWF's Office of Undergraduate Admissions. The entire Cossich family, including two sons, Laine and Wyatt, are proud supporters of UWF Athletics. The Cossichs are payroll and reoccurring donors and have been for numerous years. We are thankful for these loyal Argo fans and appreciate all they do for our University and Athletics. Please help us in recognizing the Cossich family.

Why do you give to UWF Athletics?

We are an active family that loves sports! Both of us work at UWF and have seen firsthand the work student-athletes put into their sport and their academics. Seeing Argo Athletes in action - giving their best to their team, their classes, and the university drives us to support UWF Athletics.

Why do you continue to give annually?

We want our donation to make an impact on the needs of Athletics. By donating yearly, we can consistently support athletic programs. We feel that giving is not a "one and done" thing - we want our financial support to be counted on. We see strategic planning take place in Athletics and we feel our money is put to good use.

What would you say is the best thing about being a donor to UWF athletics?

Reading about the success of each sport and the program overall makes us feel that we are making a difference to a student-athlete. We feel our donation is well spent when we see improvements to facilities and student-athletes excel. We see firsthand the pride people have when we attend athletic events.

What makes you passionate about UWF Athletics?

It's the people! From the administrators to the coaches to the student-athletes we see their passion. Knowing Argo Athletics is an integral part of the campus and Pensacola community makes us proud to financially support them. The cooperation they display with other campus departments shows they see the importance of being team players with the entire campus community.
