Donor Spotlight: Errol Dreyfuss

Why do you give to UWF athletics?

I believe in supporting athletics all the time, but UWF athletics are special. I consider myself one of the original student-athletes who competed at the school and feel fortunate to have done that. So supporting something I helped start is a no-brainer.

Why do you continue to give annually?

Athletics helped me make it through school and I also started my career as a teacher and a coach, so giving every year is my way of thanking the programs and seeing them grow.

What would you say is the best thing about being a donor to UWF Athletics?

Just the honor of being considered part of a great program. Seeing all the success makes me feel proud to be part of it.

What makes you passionate about UWF athletics?

Being a part of a great program. Proud to call myself an Argo!

Anything else to add?

A proud moment was being named captain of the tennis team in my senior year. Also, being able to participate in NCAA athletics. I grew up in a small town in South Florida and am a strong believer in tradition and family. I like to think that I am still part of that family in South Florida and the history of UWF.
