A Look Back
UWF took a 2-0 win on the road against No. 21 Lynn last week (Sept. 13).

Led by Megan Gettys and Emma Beltz, the Argos (2-0-1) remain undefeated while giving ranked Lynn (2-1) their first loss of the season. After a two-hour plus rain delay, the Argos made it out onto the pitch. Gettys scored the opening goal of the game and her second of the season just before the conclusion of the first half. Forward, Beltz, was awarded the assist. In the 75th minute, the duo did it again with Getty's assisting Beltz for her first season goal and bring the lead to 2-0.

Argos got their first loss of the season in the following match (Sept. 15) on the road at Flagler. Flagler scored two goals early in the first half to quickly take the lead.

In the 56th minute, Mya Swinton cut the deficit by one. Swinton received the ball in the middle just on top of the circle. She took off on a one person battle, making her way through the defense. Swinton found the bottom post to score her third goal of the season.
