PENSACOLA, Fla. --- The University of West Florida women's soccer team surged forward past the Badgers in Monday night's matchup at home.

Emilie Dueck Dorkensen grabbed the final goal of the night in the 89th minute to push the Argos to victory. Off a free kick, Dueck headed the ball through the crowd into the upper left corner of the net.

Julieta Limardo tallied a 5-point game. The midfielder hit two goals and an assist over the Badgers.

In the 24
th minute, the Argos saw a 1-0 deficit. A set play by
Ahnalie Layman and Limardo put the Argos on the scoreboard. Off a corner kick, a shot hit the top post and Limardo grabbed the rebound to follow through.

Limardo kept the momentum going in the second half. At the 48
th minute, the Argos attacked and got a penalty kick. The graduate student stepped to the box and hit the shot.

Spring Hill hit evened the score to two-all until Dueck Dorkensen brought the Argos to light.

UWF will head on the road to newly added GSC team, Trevecca Nazarene and Lee this weekend.
