ATLANTA, Ga. - The UWF women's basketball team was selected to compete in the second annual Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Showcase which will take place at Walt Disney World Resort from Nov. 20-23, 2025.

The Argos are one of eight teams who will play in the showcase event. The field consists of six NCAA Division I teams (Baylor, Davidson, Iowa, Miami, Missouri, and Washington State) and two NCAA Division II teams (Central Missouri and UWF).  All games will be played at the State Farm Field House at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

"We are excited to announce Baylor, Central Missouri, Davidson, Iowa, Miami, Missouri, Washington State and West Florida as the participants in the second annual WBCA Showcase," said WBCA Executive Director Danielle Donehew. "This field ensures an outstanding weekend of college women's basketball at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

"We are honored to be chosen as one of the two DII schools to be part of this showcase event," head coach Stephanie Yelton said. "We appreciate the commitment the WBCA puts forward to support women's basketball. We are looking forward to playing in this exciting event!"

The Argos will face Central Missouri on Friday, Nov. 21 at 11 a.m. ET. Broadcast information will be announced at a later date.

Tickets for the WBCA Showcase are on sale now exclusively through Ticketmaster by clicking here. Tickets start at only $25 with upgraded seating options available. Group tickets will go on sale at a later date. All tickets will be sold online via Ticketmaster and delivered digitally. Tickets will not be available to purchase onsite at the State Farm Field House box office on game days.
