PENSACOLA, Fla. - The UWF women's basketball team beat Christian Brothers, 80-62 on Thursday evening.

The Argos in the first half kept it close at 33-30.

The third quarter is when the Argos fully took over the game, out scoring the Buccaneer's by 14. This set the tone for the rest of the game.

Isabel Grimes was the leading scorer for the Argos dropping 17 points and five rebounds.

The Argos put up eight steals with Avery O'Connor having 3 on the night. 

Three other Argos found double digit scoring. Jackeria Hawkins had 14 points, O'Connor with 12 points, and Amelia Bella with 10 points. 

UWF will continue on the road to Jackson Tennessee to play next against Union University at 2:00 p.m. on January 10th.
