UWF Athletics announces weekend football and volleyball schedule updates

Pensacola, Fla. - October 15, 2026 - The University of West Florida will move forward with its scheduled home football and volleyball contests this weekend with adjustments to game times and event operations as hurricane recovery efforts continue across campus.

UWF football will host West Alabama on Saturday, Oct. 17, with kickoff moved to 1 p.m. Volleyball will host Bellarmine on Friday, Oct. 16, at 6 p.m. and Lipscomb on Sunday, Oct. 18, at 1 p.m.

The decision to proceed with the athletic events followed careful consideration and inspections of facilities following Hurricane Isaias. Storm recovery and debris removal continue across campus. Parking and pedestrian access may be affected by ongoing recovery operations, so visitors should plan accordingly and remain alert to posted signage and safety instructions. All individuals traveling to campus must use the main entrance off University Parkway — the East entrance is closed until further notice.
