PENSACOLA, Fla. - The Argos fell to the Trojans 62-76 on Thursday evening.
Despite the loss, the Argos led in the rebounding battle 42-38, 22 of those rebounds were offensive boards to the Trojans 9 offensive boards.
Amelia Bell led in rebounds with 15 for the night.
The fourth quarter the Argos found some momentum off of five steals for scoring opportunities. The Argos had 12 steals in the game to the Trojans 4 steals.
Jordan Gillies was the leading scorer for Trevecca with 22 points.
Isabel Grimes led UWF with 21 points.
Amelia Bell was the other Argo in double figures with 17 points.
The Argos will bounce back on Saturday February 7th to play Lee at home for Play4Kay game to honor cancer survivors at 2 p.m.
