VALDOSTA, Ga. – On Tuesday afternoon, the UWF men's golf team won their third straight tournament after yet another comeback win, this time at the 2026 First Federal Southeastern Collegiate.
UWF jumped three teams in the final round of competition by making up a nine-stroke deficit in the third round to win the tournament which the Argos have now won two years in a row.
The Argos shot 280 (-8), 281 (-7) and 282 (-6) over the 54 holes to beat out nine top 25 nationally ranked teams.
Senior
Cooper Tendick led the Argos with a second-place individual finish at 12 under par. In the final round Tendick heated up on the back nine shooting six under par over those nine holes. Tendick was even through seven holes before a bogey set him back on No. 8, but he responded with a birdie on nine and proceeded with four birdies and an eagle on the back nine. He finished just one shot off the leader.
In round one of the tournament every player went under par with Tendick at four under,
Per Ekelund at two under,
Eddie Lee,

TJ Thompson and Harper Ackerman (IND) all at one under par. The Argos sat in second place following the first 18 holes.
In the second round UWF dropped back to fourth place after Columbus State, Lincoln Memorial and Barry all were double digits under par. In round three the Argos were one of just three teams to shoot under par for the round.
Ekelund was the second individual finisher for UWF at five under par to place ninth overall.
